Excellence Starts Upstairs

Training the body is a well-worn road. Training the mind is a hidden trail. Mental conditioning is where consistency is built, pressure is managed, and progress actually sticks.

Meet the Coach

Alexa-rae Lowe

Alexa-rae has been immersed in high-performance spaces since childhood. A 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, she began training at six years old and went on to compete nationally and internationally until she was eighteen. Today, she continues to teach Taekwondo classes and help coach the competition team at United Oregon in Medford. Her years on the mat shaped not just her physical discipline, but a deep understanding of the mental resilience required to thrive under pressure.

After earning a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, she worked as a 911 dispatcher here in the Rogue Valley, further shaping her perspective on the mental demands faced by those in high-stress roles. She then chose to deepen her education by earning a Master’s degree in psychology, with a specialization in sport psychology.

Her coaching style is holistic, personalized, and deeply supportive while still rooted in grit, structure, and accountability. Whether working on mindset, physicality, or nutrition, she believes in meeting people where they are and helping them build the tools to elevate every part of their performance and well-being.

Outside of coaching, she finds balance in time spent on outdoor adventures with her dog Pablo, traveling, spending time with close friends and family, playing or watching any and all sports, and never missing a chance to sing along or dance it out whenever there is music playing.

Her passion for health and wellness runs deep, shaped by personal experience, years of training, and a genuine drive to help others perform and feel their best. But it all starts with the mind. It’s a lesson she wishes she understood earlier in her own journey, and one she’s now proud to pass on. She believes in living fully, training with intention, and creating space for others to become the best version of themselves inside and out.
